Manassas, VA (April 15, 2009) — Metabiomics© is now offering the human Genomics research community advanced MultiTag Sequencing™ primers and services including a limited license to use its patent pending MultiTag Sequencing™ method for research purposes. This breakthrough MultiTag Sequencing™ invention relates to multiplex polynucleotide sequence analysis using massively parallel sequencing methods, such as pyrosequencing methods and sequencing by synthesis. The invention provides increased throughput and the ability to analyze greater numbers of samples simultaneously or serially on presently available systems, as well as others yet to be developed. The invention is important for increasing the productivity of DNA analysis of complex microbial communities, particularly to in-depth analysis thereof in large numbers of samples.
